i like almost everything about the 2010 stang, EXCEPT FOR THE V6 MAKING ONLY 210HP ANDTHE V8 ONLY HAVING 315HP AND A 5SPEED STICK, FORD NEEDS TO GET OFF THEIR LAZY ASSES, THE V6 CAMARO HAS 300hp WITH BOTH 6 SPEED STICK AND AUTO, THE V8 HAS MORE THAN 400hp, dont get me wrong the car itself is great but the engines are falling behind powerwise to the new competition

how more expensive? they already have the engines lying around, they can stick the 3.5 v6 in the base models and that alone will be a big difference, 265hp vs 210hp? cmon its an easy fix, as for the v8 at least 350hp should be ok, im pretty surethey can squeeze more hp out of it

you gotta also remember that its probably much cheaper for them to put the current 4.0 and the current 4.6 in the same body, as it would be to try and to mount the 3.5 to a drivetrain and everything else setup similar to the 4.6.

LOOK ON THE FREAKING FORD WEBSITE!

The 2010 is availible in late March early April around here.

And the Pricetag on the Base GT is like 27K. Where are you getting these numbers?

that base GT price is obviously MSRP. eventhough the said number above (37k i think someone said?) is a lot higher, i wouldnt be surprised if dealer markup is around 37k.

i dont care how bad our economy is, there is no way theyre going to sell a new model mustang for cheaper than the last model. and if 27k is its selling price, thats about 3k cheaper than a new 05-09 GT... (im pretty sure they averaged about 30k without any upgrades, over the last 5 years).
