UPDATE! Well, with a build of this magnitude I expected a few hiccups and setbacks.. but man are they frustrating. -I began noticing some oil pooling up underneath my supercharger, and after further investigation I realized that the oil feed line is leaking between the hose and the crimp.. So I ordered another line that will hopefully arrive within the next few days. -Before this oil leak was discovered, I drove the car to work last week, and the thermostat stuck on me, causing the engine to overheat. So, I decided to change the thermostat. I started off by loosening the drain plug for the radiator to drain some coolant out to avoid making a large mess until this happened: Yup, the aluminum drain plug broke off inside the aluminum radiator. That wouldn't be so bad of a scenario except the center of the drain plug is a magnet, and they are not easily drilled through. So I sent off the warranty paperwork (mishimoto carries a lifetime warranty), and I hope to have the replacement within the next week. -But I didn't let these setbacks get to me. I decided to finish up a few things I've had on my to-do list for quite some time. I ordered a few small things from late model resto: (license plate bulb housings, e-brake handle boot, odometer repair kit, and headlight retaining clips) I installed the headlight retaining clips (no pictures, not exciting), but I still need to adjust the headlights. I got to work replacing the license plate bulb housings: Old (Overspray from previous car, not very clear at all): New (with preexisting LEDs) Then I moved onto the odometer repair kit (neither it or the trip odo worked): cluster out close up of the two 'issues' comparison new stuff installed
