If you've not lived day to day with a car making over 450hp, perhaps take a log off the desire fire. They're a PITA to live with. They drink gas, they break parts constantly, they're a beyotch to drive in any kind of inclement weather or even just anywhere near dewpoint conditions, and they like to try to murder you at the drop of a hat... any hat. Redoubling your efforts after you've lost sight of your goals is not a good strategy.
