3.5 Duratec turbo uprgrade

My dad had a 2007 Ford Edge with the 3.5 duratec , thing was a blast funny looking car and decently quick and my buddy and I always joked about putting a turbo on it and now he is getting rid of it and I want to take it and slap a turbo on it. Have a solid idea on how I'm going to do it all but I haven't seen it done before. Does anyone have an idea on how I would be able to tune this ecu or would I have to get and aftermarket ecu. also have an idea that It would be possible to use a 3.5 eco boost tune since they are basically the same motor just the eco boost has twin turbo and direct injection. if anyone would let me know that would be helpful.

Yeah you probably best to go to a forum specific for your application. Although asking here doesn't hurt because you never know who might have done a similar build. I dont recall anyone building or swapping a 3.5 duratec, but i dont know everything. Good luck, sounds like a fun adventure
