I want 4.10s but all i got is a stock engine now, I will be doing the PI swap, all 3 things.......so i was wondering if its alright if i go ahead and get 4.10s. I want my car to be a strip monster but still be able to be a red light beast. so give me your suggestions please. My engine has close to 82000K for now it will be my platform but when i have the money I will be swappin its engine with a 99-04 4.6 PI engine or maybe even a 351, wut other engines can i ponder on besides those two and of course the mighty 4v cobra ?????? 8)
atleast give me your suggestions on 3.73s or 4.10s for my 98 GT.........on the swappin the engine part I will be getting a 351 wherever the hell i can find one or a cobra engine when i have the money to buy one. whatever i have tho i will get the most power i can get outta it N/A then gettin a blower. so besides the gears question i want help with my 2nd question and its , S/C or Turbo ???
See my signature... I wouldn't change a thing. Only reason I would get 3.73s or something higher will only be because I put a blower on it. But this car will be sold here in the next couple of days and I will probably buy a terminator. 4.10s all the way!!
ok then i will get 4.10s, i aint really gonna do much under my hood since i will be swappin engine anyways, but when i get my cobra engine will i have to get new headers specifically for cobras or i can use the ones i will buy for my 98 gt ?
remember 4:10's will be too much gears for a blower car. Assuming you are talking about the 03/04 cobra engine.
so then 3.73s if im gettin a much better blower, what bout the stock blower the cobra 03/04 engine comes with if i leave it like that for awhile is 4.10s still too much?
I guess that depends on how much money is in your tire budget I thought it was cool at first in my car, till I started looking for new tires....uggggggg
ok so till i get my new engine, what gears would u recommend on a N/A 98 gt with, remember i aint gonn do much under the hood bein i would jus be throwin away money since im gettin me a new engine.
