I have a feeling you need to do some researching. I don't mean going to forums, making incredibly general posts and hoping someone will tell you want you want to hear.

last i heard the stock fuel system on the 94-04 mustang V6s could only handle 4.4 PSI of boost... not 100% sure if thats true... i forget where and when i heard that..

either way, the fuel system, ignition system, intake system, tuning of your ECU, your open diff wont handle the power for very long, clutch, valvetrain(maybe?), exhaust, maybe have to lower the compression ratio.... its a long list.

right! there is a vortech supercharger available for the singleport v6 - you have to tune the ecu and get a 8.8 axle. thats all for the 94-98 v6 - no more things needed to run the vortech kit - thats what I've heard / read in all other 3.8 mustang forums.... I'll also find out :)

an 8.8 axle is not necessary. the 7.5 will hold up just fine with a t-lok. The most efficient supercharger setup on the 94-04 mustang is the ATI Procharger. It's also more expensive but it gets the job done better than any other s/c, with minimal heat, weight, and any other compromise.

The necessities for a supercharger are:

High lb/hr fuel injectors
255+LPH Fuel Pump
Boost Gauge

and that's it. Of course there are recommended items such as a Wideband Air/Fuel Gauge, Built rear end, Built motor, built trans, etc. But they're not necessary.

the 7.5 wont handle too much... even if you drop in a differecial other than the open differencial. (such as t-lok or posi) They came in the fox bodies too (i believe)

you may need to have larger fuel rails or fuel lines.

I suggest finding a ford ranger in a junk yard and taking the 8.8" rear end. (Theres your traction lok and 8.8)

I also suggest finding a thunderbird and just swaping everything. rip the motor and do an overhaul, then swap everything from the fuel pump forward to the motor.

I also suggest finding a blown up 03/04 cobra and taking the IRS and youll have a good running street car... :)

vortechs are garbage, go procharger, 42lb injectors, 255lph pump if you have a 94-97, 310lph if you have a 98+, lightning or sct maf, ngk tr6's, 8.8 out of a 94-98 gt (99+ are wider and 79-93 are narrower and have drum brakes) and a proper dyno tune and youre set.

the 7.5 w/ t-lok will hold up just fine to 350RWHP. Anything above you're correct it won't handle it unless you upgrade to moser axles. The 7.5 can be a decent setup, especially due to it's lightweight compared to the 8.8 rear...
