I am wondering if the 3650 harness will fit on my T-45 transmission. Or could I possibly make a 99-00 T-45 harness fit.

What year is your car and what are you attempting to do?

The 3650 and t45 harness are pretty close to the same. There is just a reverse light switch and a speed sensor connector. The 3650 and t45 have different speed sensors so you’ll have to use a conversion box if installing mid matched transmission.

I have a 97 cobra T-45. I just bought a 99-00 T-45 harness. Will that one fit no problem? or is the speed sensor different on that one too.

Ok cool, is your transmission harness still good?

If so, I would keep your cars harness and modify it for the new transmission.

You’re going to have to figure out the crossmember. The cobras have the mount in a different location than the gt.

Is there any reason you’re swapping the t45 out?

I’m not replacing the trans I’m just in need of a new harness and I can’t find a harness at a decent price I just ordered a 99-00 T-45 harness for $60. Are they the same? It looks pretty much the same as my old one in the pictures, except there is a upstream o2 connector on the 99-00 harness.

I believe youll be able to make the new harness work for you. It might not be direct and you may need to modify it. lwarrior1016 will definitely get you squared away. That guy has knowledge stored away in mental archives that could outlast the future

Ok, I see what’s going on now. The first problem I see is that the 97 and 99 computers have much different pin outs. This may or may not include the transmission stuff. I really can’t say for sure here. This is one that you may have to be the guinea pig.
