4.6 swap problems

ok. i just finished up a swap from 3.8 to 4.6.. im new to the 4.6.. anyway i put an off road h-pipe on it'' i expected the check engine light" but i didnt get mil eliminators.. would that make my car run like crap? it idles fine, but under load it hessitates really really bad and backfires real loud and feels like it has no power at all..

the wire to the camshaft sensor was severed when the 4.6 was pulled also.. i got a pigtail from the salvage yard.. just incase that would help.. maybe my wiring was bad??? i do alot of wiring in my hobby,so im at a loss

yes, and the code im getting is. p1445, manufacturer emissions control.. THATS FRIGGIN VAGUE!

I doubt its the crank sensor unless the sensor is intermittantly failing. I would lean more towards the EGR or something in that related system.

ok.. im having trouble with the tiny red and green egr hoses.. i cant figure where they go.. and one is capprd off behind the intake.. but i dont see what it could possibly go to.. its like something is missing

i found out why its running like crap! its running really rich! so what you all think? o2 sensors or maf?

clean the MAF first....
mines running real rich ...after an O/R H pipe install and it threw a right bank fault code of some sort ...i found out its the right front o2 sensor by swapping it out with the passenger side o2....

i cleaned the maf already.. its actually not throwing a code in reference to anything that would make my car run bad.. im getting really frustrated!

There is a sensor that is supposed to go between those two hoses. It relates to the evap canister. Trace the vacuum hose that goes towards the passenger side and see if it runs into the fender. The other hose goes to the upper plenum. If those are the hoses you are talking about then u need that sensor....sorry I dont remember what its called.

all its throwing is p1445.. i have a mechanic friend who said that yes thats a problem, but not big enough of one to make the car run that bad..im guessing o2 sensors or maf judging by how bad rich it is..

its all stock stuff.. "pulled from a running car"... im towing the car there on tuesday for them to look at it for free.. or they DIE! jk lol!
