Question for you guys regarding the 4vs and deleting the thermostat housing but while keeping the overflow tank.

I know normally it can be done with just using the 2v lower hose but am in a pickle with that as that connects straight without a bend to the water inlet on the block that already has a 90 in it to face the radiator.

My oil relocation inlet isnt at a 90 and more or less straight off the block requiring the hose to do the 90 degree bend.

Anyone know of any setup easily available that keeps the overflow tank and alrdy has a small 90 in the hose for the block? Or anyone done this with an lines and a fitting combination?

The factory Mach 1 oil filter adaptor does just that. You could then use a relocation kit for the filter.

You could also have someone weld a 90* bend into your existing setup.

Let me look around my parts. Its possible a panther platform or exploder came equipped with what you need.

Thanks for the picture. I'm aware the factory ones are like that but I believe it will touch the hotside which Is why i went with an aftermarket and why they chose to not have it face the radiator is beyond me. I think i have a picture in my turbo install thread. I'll edit this if I do.

I wouldn't be opposed to having something welded. It may turn out to be my best option.

Heres a picture of what I'm talking about.

That entire area has since been wrapped for heat.
