if it is from a fox the motor will have a different upper intake, heater exchange pipes timing cover and water pump. also i think that the injectors for fox's have a different style wiring plug.

on the hp note, i may be mistakin but i think fox 5.0's had 10 more hp then 94-95's

im sure theres other things that will give away what year motor it is.

What about a swap. Is it worth it and what possible mods are needed to do it or will all accessories match up off the 5.0

Power is the same as the fox. In 1993 Ford "changed" the way they rate HP so it changed from 225 to 215.

Same engine.

what part of... ITS THE SAME ENGINE, didnt you catch...

use everything that bolts onto the engine FROM YOUR ORIGINAL. Not including heads and block.

So you will need your original...
Intake, heat pipes, wiring, sensors, timing cover, water pump, oil pan, distributor, and all YOUR stock front accessories (A/C, P/S, Alt, Smog pump). And you will need to use your original pulleys too

over this pats winter we did this top my 1995 gts. the 91 motor had 71000 miles on it. the head gaskets on the 95 blew. so we transferred all of the parts from the 95 motor, after i examined them. trick-flow h/c/i/ fuel rail ,water-pump, distributor the only thing that i did not do was replace the harmonic balancer. which i just did, i also changed my pilot bearing. the only thing we did was use the short block. everything else fit.
