so i know most of you know about the 5.0 coming back man its going to be a killer car...412 hp dont know how much they cost right now i work at a ford dealership and im constantly wanting to know the price...lm hoping that i get the d plan on the car.... im twenty years old and ir really want one but my parents are telling me to get a house instead if it was up to me i would live in the car no im jk...but i really really want one..

Hey, people wouldn't listen to me, I said it was coming back. I too work at a Ford dealer, how come they didn't tell you about it? We got it confirmed back in October by the service managers. As for price, they have told me so far it should be "similar" in price to the 2010 GT, so take that for what its worth. I was also told of a 2.0L turbo-charged four banger, they have yet to annouce that one yet but is suppose to be the base engine for the new Explorers .

EVERYONE saw it on the internet, we just didn't know anything. I work at Bennett Dunlop Ford in Regina and they told us in like November the details of it and the official news that it's going in the Mustang and F-150. I believe it will be tuned a little different for the truck though.

I'm only 17, I can't swing the payments and I also need a newer daily driver for winter/every day, my explorer is rusting out, so I'm looking at 05+ escapes. My brother with the 08' GT/CS might trade his stang in now for a 2011 GT/CS grabber blue seeing as how ford announced it at the detriot auto show. here is what chris was referring too:

The V8 was confirmed to the employees at the Ford dealer I am doing a work study at last month. They said that the "coyote" 5.0L with 400hp WILL be in the 2012 GT for sure, and might make the 2011 year. If Ford has done this now, I can almost guarantee the 5.0L will be back for 2011...

Yes its a 5.0 liter engine, but its not "The 5.0" OHV with pushrods. its a OVC engine. Still pretty impressive though, the power they are getting out of it. But i would love to see a 6.2 liter option. :evil: And muscle mustangs and fast fords wrote about/leaked it about i year ago i want to say.

thats how i started rice_slayer i worked in parts for a year till i graduated high school then i went to college to be an automotive diesel tech... still going to school but have 3 months till i graduate

alright guy are those prices on that website correct because i work at the dealership and one of the salesman says they cost 39,000 or something like that if they really cost 30,000 then i may think about buying one i love my 1995 5.o but i like this 2011 5.0 better
