It would normally be the filter and maf that get the most overpressure impulse. If the throttle blade is not wide open though you can expect the butterfly to end up looking like a taco. Typically the filter is going to take the brunt of the damage (in a WOT situation). The HPS intake manifold is pretty stoutly constructed and the huge plenum helps absorb the very large shock impulse from a n2o backfire. It's not guaranteed to survive, but it's definitely better equipped to live than any other intake.</p></blockquote><p></p>
