I called HPS to get my intake and it would appear that they have finally started getting them out of the machine shop. There was some issue at the machinists which had to be overcome but he reportedly has a few intakes on hand and several more coming today and tomorrow.

He did warn that this is first come first served and a limited quantity are available so if you need it or are going to this summer you best pony up the dough and grab it while the grabbing is good. :salute:

Normally I'd PM my incredibly long list of interested parties but it seems like the swap is more popular now and not everyone who's interested is on my list anymore.

Depends on the angle of the throttle blade at the time. It would normally be the filter and maf that get the most overpressure impulse. If the throttle blade is not wide open though you can expect the butterfly to end up looking like a taco. Typically the filter is going to take the brunt of the damage (in a WOT situation). The HPS intake manifold is pretty stoutly constructed and the huge plenum helps absorb the very large shock impulse from a n2o backfire. It's not guaranteed to survive, but it's definitely better equipped to live than any other intake.
