Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1449552" data-attributes="member: 11896"><p>Stock there was no spacer.  If your using tall valve covers it can be an issue if the upper hits the valve covers.  If that is the case then the spacer is needed, anything less then 1/2" will clear the stock hood but you will loose the use of the strut bar.  Spacer kits come with hardware and its also good to help separate the upper/lower to keep the upper a little cooler.</p></blockquote><p></p>
