95 v8 swap

Well my brother just bought a 302 from craigslist for 250 and wants to put it into his 95 v6. from what ive read it should be a direct fit minus the rear thats gonna have to be upgraded. It came with new long tubes, water pump, weiand intake and all new gaskets minus the carb and an Fcam. Oh yeah its gonna be carburated. His budget is gonna be 2000 so were looking for suggestions on what to do, maybe a stroker kit and some heads. But thanks in advance. And GOD BLESS!

does he already have the wiring harness for the 5.0 motor and the computer, if not he will need them. the K member will work just need to switch out the motor mounts to 5.0 and you can use the existing driveshaft and rear end in it. Is this a 5 speed or a auto? If it is a 5 speed he can switch out the bell housing and still use the v6 T5, if its a auto I am not sure on.

its a 5 speed, and its gonna be carb'd so getting rid of the computer instead. Oh and it came with the mounts too.

that eliminated half the battle right there lol. just make sure you get the bell housing swapped.
