96 gt auto shifting issues

Okay guys I've been having some weird problems with my car and can't pinpoint what it is exactly...
I recently rebuilt the tranny (stock 96auto) few weeks later car has been acting up.
it starts to downshift or slip on its own. It does it wen it wants to some drives are perfectly fine while others are just plain bad!
I took it back to my mechanic he dropped the tranny and found no issues I took it to another and he inspected it and still nothing tranny has enough oil as well also did a oil change just to make sure. so I know now its nothing interal.
they told me to get it diagnosed but I don't got a 100 bucks rite now for it plus the parts n labor.
so I can only hope one of u has had a similar issue and fixed it and has some feed back on how to. I did take it to autozone no codes. I also took it to a mechanic that has the snapon code reader and charged me 45 bucks and nothing. Plz help guys if u need more info ill give as much as I can.

I'm willing to bet you effed up in the valvebody somewhere.

Can you maybe find a local guy with an xcal and a laptop to datalog it?

take it to a shop between weslaco and donna its called get it in gear I think the guys name is milo or something like that he looked at mine for free and told me what was wrong

sup local buddy!! well i took it to my mechanic and it ended up being the safety neutral switch. runs like a champ now!! back in the shop today to get the a/c compressor fixed

What's up man....do u head out to the mcallen Thursday nights I sometimes chill with STMC......mine had the same problem with the safety neutral switch....mine is also in the shop my rear main seal is getting replaced

i used to go all the time but i dont know were all those guys hang out now but maybe i should start going again, yea i had to get my rear main seal replaced about a year ago to. love my car but sometimes it can be a hassle lol, does it still get super pact on Thursdays??
