Different shocks are build to different specifications, which means that a shock that was built for an OEM street car specification will probably not have the aggressive valving that an aftermarket damper aimed at performance driving will. For example, just because your 03-04 Cobra take off Bilstein is a monotube design, do you really expect it to outperform Koni SA or DA? I somehow seriously doubt that's the case. My SA has been proven to work well with a 300lbs coil over. Now, if you take the Cobra take offs and have them revalved, then you could have a seriously good strut in place.</blockquote>
