AIR CONTROL VALVE

I replaced my Air Control Valve on my 1994 V6 3.8 for a new one that I bought from this link. https://www.ebay.com/itm/375809575662
As you can see it fits my engine and year. The car starts ok and I let it warm up normally in park, but after a couple of minutes the engine stalls Also my gasket to this valve is thicker than the original. Any sugestions ?

You may try the “air restrictor mod”. You essentially cut a new gasket out of “gasket paper”. Instead of cutting holes to match the engine side of the mount, make a much smaller hole. This slows down the air flow.
