Alternative Sterring Wheel

I would like to have radio controls on the steering wheel along with the cruise control. Has anyone ever replaced the wheel with one from another Ford product such as this Lincoln Navigator wheel?

There's no wiring present in the clockspring to support the additional wiring controls. Really the question is, is the clockspring for that vehicle compatible with the SN95 steering column. Without solving that issue, this would be a huge challenge.

There are some aftermarket head units which come with a controller that you can attach to the steering wheel or column.

any deck that has an IR remote can be used. There is an adaptor that you program so that it will convert the button push into an IR transmission. You could use the switches for the cruise control if your not using it anymore otherwise as mentioned you will need a different clockspring.
