This will save us tons of money, originally to put the Mustang II IFS in it was gonna be close to 4 grand just for suspension. The cool part about this, for me at least, is that i will be doing the entire thing by myself for the most part. It will be my project at the HS.
Well, for those of you who didnt see my thread on the 48 chevy truck im restomoding, here is an update. Instead of buyin the Mustang II front suspension, were going to drop the '48 body onto his '85 gmc s10 chassis. The kit we are buying is 1095 from http://www.ad-engineering.com/, its probably the sickest kit ive seen in a LONG LONG time. This will save us tons of money, originally to put the Mustang II IFS in it was gonna be close to 4 grand just for suspension. The cool part about this, for me at least, is that i will be doing the entire thing by myself for the most part. It will be my project at the HS. For being 17 and starting a project like this is incredible, i cant wait to get 'er running. I will be building a 350 and using an auto trans. onto a couple pics this body(chitty pic i know) onto this frame...my gpa loves this truck, it will be TONS better after the 48 body is on
