Its about feathering the gas and learning to slip out the clutch. Its not easy and sometimes you break lose, but just pedal it out or short shift into second. Atleast that does the trick for me. You can't just floor it in any higher powered car on the street and expect to not spin, unless maybe you have a awesome drag oriented suspension and slicks . Idk but atleast that is my experience and how I launch on the street in first gear.If I'm trying to spin tires, I can dump the clutch faster and shortshift and burn the tires off til halfway through third somewhere around 60mph.
