so let me ask this if the nitrous gods...... what about a 408 with forged internals, 2 bolt main, and a carb. what woud be the best way to go? stick car also

sorry to ask in your thread, but because we are on subject.... i fig it was ok.

I have a 410, 2 bolt mains, EFI, T-56. I spray a 150 wet shot through a shark nozzle in my CAI, that yielded 648hp/742tq at the wheels. With that roughly being 785hp/899tq at the crank, I'm not upping my shot even though I had my cam ground for a 200 shot. I've been told to not go over 700-750 crank HP with a 2 bolt stock block. Mine's a 1994 out of a Lightning, hyd. roller. Track times in sig with a 3400ish lbs race weight with me in the car.

Knee deep in the water some where
My friend and I ran the direct port on the old 306 we had in the coupe. The initial hit on the direct port is alot softer than the plate system. With the plate the car went nuts and tried to stand straight up off the line, came real close to dragging the bumper. On the fogger system same hp setting it would launch hard carrying the front wheels about a foot or so off the ground a little ways out. Could run 200 hp on the fogger with ease. Didnt have forged pistons either.
