anyone dye there light colored seats BLACK ???

my 95 gt interior has seen better days.. I recently bought a new rug and black rear seat delete to replace the saddle tan that was in there previous.. the guy who owned the car before me changed the front seats to a beige colored sport seat.. my budget is slowly disappearing lol so I m trying to see if anyone has changed there light colored seats to black ? how was the process and how did the final result come out ? my car is a vert so I dunno how it would hold up against the hot sun.. thanks again for anyone with any any input,,, I know a few members on here have dyed there seats with good results.. the seats in my car are perfect no rips just the wrong color unfort.. thanks again

Maybe you should look into plastidip? Maybe they have a product for seats? Or Wal Mart would have spray paints for seats, just make sure to follow the instructions.

plastidip seats?!?!?! that's some funny ish right there.

Only time I ever tried to dye something black was my trunk liners. I figured it would be easy since it was going from grey to black but after applying the special fabric dye I had strange white residue on the edges so I just ended up recovering it with some felt.
