Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1013185" data-attributes="member: 11896">I did some more work on the 94 cobra intake I bought to polish last night since I could not sleep.  I have 6 of the 8 runners smoothed out now and the more I look at them in the satin-look they have now the more I like it.  So far I have them sanded down with a med-grit sanding sponge so they are not brushed but just a satin/flat look to them.  I have chrome valve covers I could do the same finish to by simply sanding them down as well as a couple other pieces on the motor.  I would like to get the engine bay painted a satin black as well as everything else that isn't polished/raw satin finish and think it would look great.  Anyone done anything similar and have pics?<img src="http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/2/4582/3409/23954204177_large.jpg?modal" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />This pic is a little old as I have smoothed it out even more then this but the lower area gives you an idea of what it would look like.</blockquote>
