Anyone using the stock ign with a supercharger?

Anyone with a supercharger using the stock ign system? Is it ok to run a boosted car with the stock ign system?

Low boost about 6 to 8 lbs, Power level about 400 rwhp.

might be blowing out the spark in the higher rpm's. What did the graph look like on the dyno?

I tried my car, NA HCI with the stock ignition, it wont rev smoothly past about 3500 or so... so I cant imagine a blown car would fair much better.

mine would pull to 6k easy... with a blower car you run a lot less gap on the spark plugs also.

Hm, interesting. i wonder if it had anything to do with the PMS I was running.

I would at least put an aftermarket ignition box on it for the extra spark.
