I have that Ravelco Anti-Theft Device in my car!! Not really sure when I bought it, think I paid $160 though. I love it!!! I pull the plug every time she's in park! I have kinda a huge trust issue with anybody!!

I thought I had a pic of it, guess I deleted it. Here's one kind of:

I have it mounted on the opposite/right side, though.

I recommend it for any owner!!

Do you want the alarm for fear of things being stolen out of the car or the car being stolen?

Id just put a battery cut off switch beind the plate.

When I bought my car, I was all in love with with it! Now after being away for 227 days, not so much! I don't want somebody to steal my car. If it was totaled or something, wouldn't be the end of the world. I still pull the plug, just mainly out of habit! It took me so long to remember it, now it's just something I do.

yeah its one of the easiest things to do ....i have one in my truck ......i've seen one put into a cigarette lightner where you have to push in the lighter inorder to start the truck ....i've also seen where you have to lock the doors (it was the same family they're weird)

I have the cut off switch behind the plate, I got it not b/c of theft reasons but b/c the battery is in the trunk and you need a cut off switch if that's done but it also doubles as a good anti theft device. I dont take the car anywhere where I have to worry about it being stolen anyway so Im not that worried about it.

IMO if someone is just worried about their car being stolen the cheapest thing to do is just to pull the coil wire. Its free, and the car wont start.
