I have a 95 GT with automatic transmission.

I notice when the car is in Reverse you can push it out of gear into Neutral without pushing the trigger button on the shifter. Is this normal?

Thanks,

That seems typical, but you shouldn’t be able to push it from neutral to reverse without hitting the button.

Yup, that's how it works. Guess it's normal.

I've drove a stick since 1992. My wife's truck is an automatic but it has a "commander" dial on the dash.
