Automatic Tranny Issue

My automatic tranny in my 95 gt is acting up. It acts like it doesn't want to go into overdrive sometimes and gives a vibration. If i give it a little more gas it will quit vibrating and go into overdrive. Anyone know whats causing this?

Mine used to drive fine, then kinda kick out of OD, & then go back into it. By time I found a trans guy, it stopped! It never did it on a schedule, either. Sometimes it would be 5 miles, next it would be 20 of them. Stayed not in OD for about 5 seconds @ the most. Usually about 2 or 3.

I don't think it vibrated? That stuff is hard for me to tell, though.

i read draining the fluid and replacing it with mercon v fluid or w.e may solve it. May be the valve body sticking.

do that and add a bottle of lube guard red. Have you ever changed the fluid/filter?

Lucas transmission fix may also help. I know a guy that has a Fox with an old AOD. Thing was dying...he added a bottle of that and got another year out of that trans.
