Basically having fuel related issues. Wrote down all I noticed. Now to put it out there I just had shoulder surgery so I'm in a sling and can't fix it atm. Started happening the day before my surgery last week. Hooked up my code reader and got a 511 code, read only memory test failure and a 564. Which is fan circuit failure. However I'm positive I counted wrong and it's 554 which is fuel pressure regulator control circuit failure. That mean my fpr is bad and the culprit? All my fuses are good, fuel pump relay is good. Input please and thank ya.

Update. Primed the key a few times fuel pressure is at 30 psi. Start it up, 30 psi. Gonna let it warm up see if the pressure drops. If it does pumps probably shot.

Lost fuel pressure. It didn't go up as I revved it from the throttlebody either. It stayed at 30 psi.

Pull the vac line from regulator to see pressure. Should be about 39 psi anything below that and you have an issue withe either a bad fpr diaphragm or weak pump. There is no elictrical circut for the fpr. i would reverify that code or be sure your fan is kicking on.

I have a gauge on it, I did pull the line and capped it with a bolt. Fp dropped. I'll double check the code though!

Update. Put the code reader on it today, no 564 code... weird. Afterwards I let the car run, fans came on at the right temp.

Update.. I pulled the vac line off the fuel press reg, fuel pressure went right up to 40. As soon as I put the line back on the fp drops to 20ish. Line off, its up to 40. Let it idle for 10 mins, didn't stall. Line back on, stalls within a few mins. Oh and the pump primes like normal when I primed the key with that vacuum line off. So its possible that line is kinked or clogged? It runs right under the upper intake.
