Car is a 1971 Mercury Cougar XR7, has a 351 cleveland in it with a C4, mild cam, he ran mid 14s with it back in the mid 90s on street tires with it. Apparently, it has a spun bearing, but I have never heard the car run. So my plan is to pull the engine and inspect. I'm trying to convince him to let me build a mild 351w for it, but it will take a bit lol. Anyways, here's the pics. [QUOTE="Rice_slayer, post: 938581, member: 9927"] So I have known about this car for SEVERAL years, and have tried to get it off my Uncle with no luck. Since I'm a tech. now, he asked me if I want to try and get it running again, and of course I said yes, but I have to be allowed to drive it when fixed :P. I won't be able to start looking into it until spring but since I went out to the farm today, I took a few snaps of it. It has been literally sitting in the same spot for 15 YEARS, yes, 15. Sorry for bad quality, taken with my crackberry with very bad lighting because the door is stuck closed because of the snow.
