Folks is there any chance if there is a hidden drain after removal of the heater unit?

Previous owners made a wiring mess in the dash and I removed a lot of dead wiring. My heater unit have broken vacuum conectors so I removed the unit completely untill I receive spare. I am now searching for the drain.

I doubt anyone would have any need to splice into the HVAC controls to siphon off power for something aftermarket. Only way to be sure is to pull the fuse for this circuit and wait and observe.

it is doubtful but electronics can do some funny stuff. The only way to tell is to disconnect the battery, set your multimeter to current/amperage and connect it between the battery and the lead you disconnected. Take the reading on the meter and then start pulling fuses one at a time. Eventually when you pull one the current should drop to nearly 0 and that will tell you what circuit we need to investigate to find your drain.

You sure you didn't have a drain BEFORE
Yes but I cleaned up a lot of wires. There was a bunch of dead wiring like and old alarm system, some unused dead lines. I cleaned up lot of things and removed the HVAC unit as the plastic broke.

Since that the voltage is low and the battery warning is on

none of us or even yourself will be able to put our finger on it here/online. The test I said to do above only takes 5-10 mins and then a little time to see what is all on that circuit to narrow down what is causing it.

I know, I can do this but the battery is dead since this morning. Need a shop close to mine to charge it.

BTW here is the bunch of wiring I removed from the dash, all dead stuff from previous owners. Most of them was leading to nothing. I have cut also the original radio wiring with connector, which was not used too. I have my own wiring with amp and speaker wiring.

It is funny for me too. However this fuse is for the voltage regulator of the alternator. I guess the drain was very fast and because of false voltage even faster. I was deiving the car only for some minutes stopped becauae of this. Then the day after the battery was only about 10.5V.

But how the hack can someone use a 5A instead 25A fuse? The car was 3 years running on 5A, it last quite long

Fuses are typically rated over what the load in the circuit would actually require, accounting for power factor and potential surges and the fact that the older something gets the more load it draws over time in the form of wasted heat (in general).
