Ok so my car is running lean system bank one code # P0171 ok, when it first came on i replaced all 4 O2 sensors, kinda pricey but i figured that is what it was, was fine for a week came back on. so i then replaced the plugs and wires, cleared the code, still came back on. Got the car mail order tuned from lasota after putting the tune in again was fine for a week light came back on. i then went and took carb cleaner and sprayed the vacuum lines didnt rev up or bog down, i dunno what it is, im about ready to take it to ford, but before i do anyone else got any ideas?

what do i clean it with and how, and i dunno about my injectors, its not missing any

buy a can of SeaFoam from your local auto parts store, run your car to almost empty, fill your car back up with shell premium V-power gas and throw in the can of SeaFoam. This burns hot and clean, from pump to injectors. Your fuel system has 3 filters: 1 in the tank before the pump, 1 in-line, and 1 on each injector. If you feel up to it, You may want to replace the inline fuel filter too. It costs $10 and is easy.

I don't think it will help with your running lean, but if you want to clean your fuel system, replace that filter too. Its located in front of your fuel tank. Open the truck, press the fuel pressure emergency button on the driver's side behind the trunk paneling, take off your battery cables, jack up your car (front if you have gas in your tank,) un clip the 2 clips holding the filter lines, and put in the new filter.

Also, buy a can of mass air flow cleaner, throttle body cleaner, and a new air filter (or clean your oil filter.) Take apart your intake piping, clean your mass air flow and intake air temp. sensor with the mass air flow cleaner; and clean your throttle body with the throttle body cleaner. Be sure to let your oil filter dry after cleaning (before oiling) and be sure to let it dry after oiling (roughly 8-12 hours.) The oil clogs your MAF, make sure you let it dry naturally before and after oiling.

After cleaning your intake system and your fuel system, and the problem doesn't fix, take it to ford. It could also be a faulty fuel pressure regulator or a sudden change in altitude.

if your real gentle you can clean the maf with a q-tip and alcohol. you'll need a tamperproof torx bit to remove it from the housing. if you break the filiment then it's fubar and you'll have to buy a new one
