Best Drag Racing Times

Well, air was excellent this past two weekends. Race at woodburn drag strip. 2 weeks ago. Set personal best of 11.19. @119mph. Last weekend. Renegade. Running 1/8 Friday night average 7.2. Which transfers to 11.23. In 1/4. Ran 11.30- 11.40 there due to much higher DA. Car is about 500 hp at the crank. . Efficiency levels about as good as ya could expect

That’s really good . Last year end of the season I went 11.19 at 122

New season new bullet. No longer a 7 second car in the 1/8. Now it's a 6.50 car all day long. 1.40 60ft on stock type suspension. And 104-106 mph thru the traps. Next is team Z antiroll bar. They just came out with a bolt in serviceable unit.

1.41 to 60 . Nice work this cars working really well 10.3 at 129 car flat out works . Safe to say that new anti roll bar is working .

Still only have sway bar from my convertible in right now. Won't get the anti roll bar till next week. Even the sway bar helped reduce wheelies. Drivers side came up only a few inches. Passenger tire was still on the track. The 130 mph passes are what , is a bit of surprise.

First time driving at a drag strip, I went to no prep and ran twice. I know these numbers aren't that exciting to y'all but I fully expected to see 17 seconds so these look awesome to me.

Congrats, you really outdid your expectations on the 14.9 run. What's the combo?

My best run was 15.098 but those were my first and second times ever driving on a drag strip so I'm sure the car had a little more to give if I had the experience and skill to launch better. The 14.959 and 16.552 were random cars that happened to be in the other lane at the same time.
Engine is the original 302 with e7te heads; cobra intake manifold, 24lb injectors, speed density conversion, 1.72 rockers, shorty headers, catted bbk midpipe, pypes catback. T5 manual trans & 3.08 gears, and 245/40r18 all season tires that proved to be the biggest handicap.

Oops, my bad on the lane. 95mph is a very good trap speed. Gears, drag radials, pullies, remove some weight, should put you in the mid 14's.

I'd imagine soft tires would take a half second out, I couldn't get close to the floor with the gas pedal in 1st and 2nd even on the race track glue. Youtuber SN95Power was getting the same 60ft times as me with a supercharged coyote & 3.55's because he's also on street tires.


Most of my driving in this car is weekend + after work road trips & adventures so that's what it's built around, drag racing was just a little side adventure since I hadn't done it before.
