So... your going to slap me.. but i used google. And found a bunch of ricers trying to explain fuel grade :BangHead: :violent1:

So... Which is best? My dad said he always ran 93 :icon_rr: back in his day *85 T-top Fox* and it was a v8

I've never studied it... i need a class :evil5:
Anyone help me please??

Im looking for performance, but at the same time i heard 93 can get more MPG

My mustang is stock kindof, got a hurst shifter/CAI/ 1 chamber flows / H pipe

Grade is just the octane rating. The more timing you run or the higher compression you have the more octane you need in your car to keep it from "pinging". If it's mostly stock I'd just run the regular 87 octane fuel or your just wasting money. I haven't seen any mpg increases from using a higher octane fuel. I run 91/93 octane in my car because of the tune I have require it.

i suggest midgrade. Even in my 1996 V6 it said at least 87 octain... (which is mid-grade in colorado) so i dono about you guys. if its a V6, use 87 or higher. if its a V8, use whatever midgrade is at the pump youre at. if its got boost, use premium :)
