Message: <blockquote data-quote="weendoggy" data-source="post: 1587853" data-attributes="member: 23340"><p>It IS legal to do a swap, the key is EVERYTHING must be for what you're putting in. i.e. If you have a 1999xxx and do a newer engine, the newer engine MUST be setup for the year of the engine being installed (a 2020 engine from a newer model), with ALL emission related items for that year. If you go in reverse to put an older engine in, it MUST be set to the standards of the 1999xxx model. Pretty much a cliff note version, so a visit to BAR is a must when doing this.
