what bolt ons do i still need??? i got a 94 cobra with bbk cai,mac pulleys,40 series flos and turndowns, what else do i need and how many horses will i have with all the bolt ons??
i already got the u/d pulleys, with the rest of the bolt ons will i be around 260rwhp-280rwhp???or am i asking for too much :dunno: i just want to be a solid 13sec car. for the future what will be better take the engine apart and go forged 347 stroker with all the goodies or just slap a blower :dunno: i want to be able to take on 03 cobras down the road!!!!
ive seen a 94 cobra with gears,exhaust,L/T,pullies and cai with very little suspension done run 13.2s constant with DR's and with a driver....you should be easyly in the 13s with full bolt ons...
I agree my 94GT had full exhaust - TB - massair - coldair - GT40 - pulleys - 3:55's and went 13.00's with DR's so you should see mid 13's I think
u have L/T or shortys?...also did u play with ur timing at all..have any suspension done...good runnin gt and you need to hit the track with the cobra with me
94pacecar knows how to drive!!!i know i been on the car with him.i also raced him on a roll and he ate me up!!!!!
what gears are better for my car 373s or 410s???right now im at 2900rpms at 90mph.i think i got 308s right??
First off, your #'s are too high. But that doesn't mean you can't be a solid 13 sec car, like others have stated. Gears, midpipe and some sticky tires will help a lot and should get u there if you're a good driver. Gears: Get 3:73's. 4:10's are a lot for a 5.0 and will murder you on the highway. Also if you are going power adder 4:10 are a double no no. Secondly, if you wanna take down 03 cobras, your looking in a different ballpark. 03's with a good driver should be a mid 12 sec car...and we all know how crazy they are modded. It's definatly a better idea to look at a 347 stroker rather then slap a blower on it. For now build up parts around the engine accordingly such as full exhaust, TB, MAF, Fuel...etc and so when you do get the engine, you can benefit from the cubes.
for now im just going get the 373s than, a tb ,and a maf.ill see where im at after that.im going to start saving my pennies for a 347 stroker also.thanks :thumb:
is it your daily driver? take it to the strip alot..you can build a 331 and its more streetable but still tears up the street..but our cars are heavy so more cubes could help
I'd just get a cheap roller fox and drop the 337 into that personally. I'd would be a lot cheaper, not to mention emmissions exempt in a year or two, which equals carb setup, and no cats, or smog bs.
