So i bought the bosch sparks from cjpony for the gt40 heads. Well doing some research im finding out that bosch says they are not for my 95 cobra.

Anyone run these before. It was a night and day difference when i installed them but then again the old ones were neglected and had a .91 gap :angry7:
I gapped them to the factory spec of .52 but should i keep them the .44 they come? Ive done some looking but cant find a positive answer.

Im looking for 02 also and bosch has two upstream, one is a universal. The second one is a thimble design anyone run any of these?

Ok so after some review im finding that for the 02 i will need the bosch 15716. Would be the only one on the previous page for upstream that is assembled.

Now the plugs im getting mixed reviews on right now.. Some are saying its more for the 4.6 cobra but its got a lot of the exact same features as the autolite 764
Ive looked high and low and more people talk about the gt40p heads then anything and that the 93-95 cobras are specific.. I think even though i bought the bosch im going to pick up some autolite and try them out.. Ive read reviews that the 764 is being phased out for the 104s even on the website it states untill inventory depleted http://www.autolitecatalog.com/Application.aspx?b=A Im not exactly sure what ones to buy out of all those being some state AP,APP, and Xp.. Do i want to stay away from the platinum styles and just pick up the plain 764s?

Without truley understanding all the different styles and heat ranges im kinda lost and what to go for, But the biggest plug i have seen recommended is the 764/104..

http://www.cjponyparts.com/gt-40-head-spark-plug/p/SP32C/ Cjpony states its for the gt40 head and when i called them they were adimit it was what i needed
http://www.boschautoparts.com/sparkplugs/Pages/SuperPlus.aspx

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Bosch-Copper-Super-Spark-Plug?itemIdentifier=874696 Now autozone tells me now way..

They work it runs 10x better but im still feeling im missing the big picture here... :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

So looking at the data from bosch http://www.boschsparkplugs.net/resultsSearch.asp it says the 93-95 lighting is ok. Im gathering that the lightning and the 93-95 cobras all came with the same gt40 heads. Would the difference in the cubic inch matter then or would that be more of a gapping issue.. Still thinking to just get the autolites

Just looking at this it seems i never posted my results.
I went with the bosch and after talking to a few ford techs in my area they use them in their race cars also. Have had no issues and also checked them out after about 2k miles and they look great.

this is good info bc I planned on running these before I went Autolite. How do you like them overall? How bad were your other plugs?

I love them. The spark woke the car up the 02s made the whole powerband smooth, good idle, and MPG went up by 2 on hwy.

if its runnin ok, what are you concerned about? Do they say why they are not good for your cobra?

Bosch when i caled said they needed to update the 93-95 cobra in the system. Both the 02s and spark never looked like they were changed. 100k and spark was at .92 not good the 02s should be done every 40-60k min i usually change them out after about 20-30k with spark at the same time.
