so on my way to autozone today, i managed to pick up this camaro. the guy followed me the whole way there, and parked straight behind me in the lot. i thought it was going to be a harassment or a challenge. turns out the guy just wanted to chill in the parking lot and obsess about the two glorious v8's. little did i know, his z28 was vette powered. LS6 to be exact, and he wanted to trade and give me some money to boot. it was an auto so i suppose i can see why he didnt want it, but it had an ss kit on hit and airbrushed (actually decent) flames on it. normally around here we get hicks that are so brand loyal that they'd try to monster truck my car with their jacked up scottsdale, but this guy has really given me a better outlook towards fellow car enthusiasts. im still surprised the amount of people that dont know the 94-95 came with the 5oh.

so, in light of my very good day, i'd love to hear stories of other encounters with camaros, firebirds, .....rice.... that truely appreciate motorsports in general. :)

jsyk, 5 mins before him a rediculous looking new edge v6 (red), with dual exhaust sounding like...whatever... tried to impress me....kay...(i didnt mean to burn a tish of rubber, my foot slipped off the clutch when his car scared me...)

Never had a cool interaction like that from a Chevy guy but I've initiated them a few times. My best friend was raised Chevy and I Ford. He has a nice LT1 that we ended up pulling the motor out of and building together. It can really remind you what a passion for cars is about -- NOT just your car. It's about the appreciation of engineering and style coming together to make something functional.

I run into a ton of cool chevy/mopar guys. You just have to be level headed and not be a "everything but ford sucks" type of guy. If you appreciate nice cars no matter the brand, you can get along with all car enthusiasts :)

Personally I like just about everything out there that isn't distastfully modified.

I especially like Vettes.

Cept on the Vettes thing. I like SOME Vettes, but not all of them.
I love a lot of different cars for different reasons

mmmm vettes.

I think my vette gets alot more attention then the Mustang.

I guess it's just the concept of being the highest class of car chevy makes.

As far as cars go, I like a little bit of everything as long as its cool! Whats the point of hating everything else other than what you drive? Its retarded. Look at my avatar, I have a blue oval and a bowtie, who cares? I love em both :)
I do agree finding similar people isnt easy though. There use to be a group I'd see around town of Mustangs, Firebirds, and Camaro's, as well as other older rides hanging out in some random parking lot, but its been a while since Ive seen them.

We have three stangs, a tahoe, a Z71 and a Camaro. I'm a diehard Mustang enthusiast but I have respect for any vehicle someone has truly put their heart and soul (& $$$$) into. Our Z71 is about to undergo a major transformation so I'm not afraid to mod a chebby.

I like almost everything. I've never seen a modded civic IRL that hasn't made me chuckle.

i giggle like a little school girl everytime i see the two civics around town with matching spray can paint jobs. the paint is ignorable, but the matching intercoolers that lead to the bumper like the bumper overheats is what really gets me.

it'd be neat to see um if they actually had turbos but i guess aesthetics are important too! i like their lick and stick scoops too! really...i do...

i do enjoy riding around town and seeing various garages with any car up in the air, makes me feel like im not the only car obsessed fool around here :)

People who own civics seem to be more retarded than other people that try to make FWD economy cars perform. I don't see why they don't just buy type rs and call it a day. That's the best a civic will EVER get.
