You are right, for a street mustang, installing a big Brembo rear brake system is unnecessary for most poeple. However, any super car has big brakes all around and Whenever I saw a Ferrari or a Lambo brake system, I had too many " why don't mustangs come with overkill, outragous and unnnessary Brembo brakes at all 4 corners too kind of thoughts. Ford also put togeather a Brembo 4 piston caliper system at all 4 corners way back in 1994 for the one off Boss 10.0 mustang so if Ford went to through the time and expense of fitting Brembo 4 piston calipers on all 4 corners of a SN95 mustang I knew that one day I would do the same to my SN95. Finnally, that day has arrived. The roots of my Brembo nutswinging. Way back in 1994, Ford's SVE engineering division fits Brembo billet 4 piston calipers and drilled 2 piece rotors at all 4 corners on the boss 10.0 mustang 1998 and Ford fits Brembo 4 piston calipers on front and rear on the super stallion mustang For sure, installing a big brake system on the rear of a mustang is one of those things that you either get it or you don't. I think it's cool for my car to have an almost identical rear brake system as this Ferrari F360.
