I'm considering buying a '94-'95 cobra front bumper cover for my '94 GT. Anyone know if I'll have to modify it to make it fit?

It takes no modification. If you want to use Cobra foglights, you'll need the brackets and lights of course, but you wont have to drill new holes or anything, its all straightforward. I'll be doing the same thing in a couple weeks, I already have the bumper.

I've got a 94 GT with a Cobra bumper cover. No fitment issues at all, and no modifications required to install the bumper either. If I may say something though, if you're gonna do this, do it right the first time. Get a factory bumper, not an ebay replacement. Search junkyards or craigslist or something. I've got ebay reproduction piece, and the elasticity is not the same as stock bumper, so it sits wider, and the lines are not as sharp as they should have been. You can't really tell the difference if the car is by itself, but when there is another cobra right next to my GT, the difference is obvious.

Thanks a ton guys. I appreciate it.

And ReplicaR : I bought an ebay hood and I won't ever make the mistake of buying an OEM part again. The hood sits off center and is almost an inch higher in the back. It looks terrible. Thanks for the warning though. :]

i've always wondered why some cobras looked different than others. glad i got OEM, but its off a wrecked cobra so it still needs a little work

If you've got the money, definately go with a Ford piece....last time I checked thru the Ford dealer I deal with, Ford still had some in their warehouses.....
