bypass heater core for 95 gt

Has anybody come up with a clean setup to bypass heater core for a race engine? I'm not satisfied with my stab at it. the coolant temp sensor limits the changes. Has aNYONE MOVED THERE SENSOR TO ANOTHER PLACE?

I had to do it for a while, all we did was take some hose and connect the coolant crossover pipes on top with a u-shaped piece of hose.

as long as it is the right size it looks like the one I ran. Needless to say you can get by without a heater in phoenix without too much trouble.
