cam only sn95

so has anyone ever set the record for the fastest cam only full bolt on,with like the cobra motor or gt40 motor out of a cobra.
in a sn95 car?

so you want to know how fast a 5.0 cobra + cam, exhaust, gears, CAI. or a 5.0 with gt4o setup? 1/4 mile probably low 13s, maybe 250rwhp

well yea.. but i was wondering if anyone took a 94-98 cobra put fulll bolt ons and a cam no port work nothing.. stock suspension and dr's.. and set a record fastest time... for mustangs ranging from 94-98...

I'm sure that someone has gone fast, but I'm not sure if there was any record kept of it. I would imagine the fastest anyone has gone with a setup like that was mid to low 12's

well you changed your specs. from what i thought you meant a 94-95 5.0, to the 94-98. so you have the 5.0 gt, 5.0 cobra, 4.6 SOHC
, and Cobra 4.6 DOHC. but since you have a 5.0, i would agree with hellion94 and say a 12 second pass should be possible.

Im in the 12's w/ my 94 Cobra, H/C/I no port work but I also have a 351. I should be in the low 12's now w/ the new mods but its not tuned yet so I dont know.

i'm sure there's people in the 12's with a cobra motor and cam, that was my goal wiht a stock gt motor and a cam I wanted a 12.999 but harmonic balancer took a bad direction on me now the car sits lol I htink people have done it under certain circumstance such as weight reduction and stuff like that but IMO i'd rahter try adn do it in street trim with dr's at most.

My buddy hit a 12.9 at 106 in his 96' Cobra full wieght only mods were slicks, 4.10 gears, X pipe with flowmaster40's and a K&n drop in on a cold night. If he would add u/d's a JLT CAI, Long tubes he wouldeasily be mid-low 12's
