I wanna say that there was a link on here where someone took the an old valve (same sizes as the heads he was puting on) and epoxyed a roloc disc to it. Chuck the valve into an air drill (or high speed cordless) and go to work. This can be done with the short block still in the engine bay, just be very particular about covering coolant and oil passages as well as a thoroughly cleaning up afterward.
