Well. Best things for these cars on a budget:
Boost, find a vortech kit. They can handle roughly 400 on stock internals, provided you have good compression and a solid valve train, and of course monitor your a.f
They do great with spray, but I prefer not to use it.
Then, of course, gears. I'm going 4.10s. If you plan to boost in the future, I'd say 3.73s, a good converter and a jmod, if you want to stay n/a, 4.10s and the above menetioned mods.
Do some of that, then you can save up to build a whole motor. I wish I would have done suspension and rear before building the motor.
