Can you run HIDs with?

From the HID lows only setups Ive seen, nearly all of them have had halogen (stock bulbs) for highs.

how can that be if the stock setup uses one bulb? I can see that with projectors because then there are 2 bulbs per side.

The projectors have a solenoid operated motor that quickly flips the reflector up when you want to high beam. You can't flash HIDs because they flash red when they are turned on before they cool down.

Yeah so that's using the same bulb right, not another bulb for the highs.

Where did I see all the sets of HID bulbs on display? It showed the different # options and what color it shined. I cannot really remember, can you tell? I am going to guess @ the #'s: 4300, 6000, and maybe 9000? I want some and am trying to know which ones to buy. Thanks!!

The number you are referring to is the temperature of the light wave in degrees kelvin, that is if I remember correctly. Basically the temperature is going to dictate the color you see, such as blue, yellowish, whiteish, and so on. If you bought bi-xenon HID's for our Mustangs, they'd be the type that the filement (bulb) moves on. Bi-xenon is hi and low beams for those who don't know.

The only company I know of that makes projectors for our cars that I'd EVER consider buying is Depo Autolamps. If I ever put projectors on my car, it'll be a retrofit.
