car acting funny off launch........

OK well i decided to put in new spark plugs because of my horrible gas mileage, i went with autolite platinum's gapped at .054. and the next day i went cruising and the take off from a stoplight my car stars to kind of bogging. and even on the freeway say if i down shift from 5Th to 4Th it has done it. it doesn't happen always but my guess its the fuel pump. any advice?

Not much. Just that this is in the wrong forum, I'm sure a mod'll move it here in a minute though.

Just make sure everything got hooked back up right and all that. I'm not really really really smart when it comes to cars, but it could always be somthing simple like not putting the wires in the right order or sometihng.

Not sure about the modular motors, but I know our 5.0s hate platinum plugs.

make sure the wires are all the way on. did you replace them too?

i didnt replace them, they still looked ok, yes i had trouble putting the wire on the farthest spark plug, right side. but its on now.

wires can break down over time too. especially if they're rubbing on something alse or each other. i usually replace my wires and plugs at the same time just in case one is damaged in the removal processes. and like said earlier 5/0 don't really like platiniums.
