Sounds like your car definitely has a tuner, as these cars wont run well without one when modified, esp with the mods listed above. I bet its a simple tune-up item that went south, like a dirty maf. heres how to clean!Well, I would pull your MAF, and look inside for two silver wires. DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!! thats important. I would mix up a solution of simple green and hot water, just enough simple green to make it stoplight green, and use a spray bottle to spray the wires down until they are clean. rinse well with hot clean water, and let dry. dont worry too much about getting water in the electronics, they are sealed. make sure the sensor and housing are dry before you use it. YOu can use hot water only if you need to, or checker auto sells some cheap aeresol cleaner to spray on it. it is paramount to get all the cleaner off the wires, but a good rinse will do the trick.That is where I would start. also, check your timing, there is a small grey pill you have to pull out of the harness in the fender when you do. base timing should be 12-14 btdc. let me know if the harmonic balancer wobbles fore and aft.I hope this helps, and if it doesnt,lemme know.</blockquote>
