car won't go past certain rpms!

so i fixed my idle and overheating problems. and there is one left.. :angry7: this started before the imrc delete. car idles and runs just fine and when i try to go past like 4000 rpm it just falls flat on its face and won't go past it. and if i keep on driving the lower the rpms i'm able to go. i already replaced my fuel filter and spark plugs. maf was cleaned not too long ago. any ideas???

check the hasness that plugs into the coil packs..make sure all the wires that go into the harness are tight

i checked it and still the same

Check the MAF again. Make sure it is clean and connections are good. I've had mine go into limp mode and not go over 2500 when moving because it seperated from the inlet.

last time my car wouldnt rev or go over that many RPM's it locked up on my due to a spun bearing.

it turned out to be my fuel pump.

thats always a nice simple and inexpensive fix that usually would take 8 years to diagnose
