Message: <blockquote data-quote="maury94GT" data-source="post: 718762" data-attributes="member: 11245"><p>OK so about a week ago my car started back firing and jerking like if it was going to die and then it died i was going about 40 and i tried to start it it would turn over but nothing then i worried so i threw it in second and dumped the clutch it turned back on and did the same thing jerked and died i pulled in to a near parking lot and sat for about a second then tried to start it it started up fine ran great got home and let it sit but then yesterday it did it again had not done it a a while back , yesterday when it did again i let it sit and started up again today in the middle of the freeway it died i dumped the clutch and it would start then die i sat there for 15 mins nothing then i started checking everything i checked the maf and cleaned it then i made sure i had fuel it did then i got starter fluid and my brother who was there sprayed it in the throttle body and i tried to start it and nothing then i called my Friend and he said to check and see if the coil was sparking it wasn't so i went bought one and installed it it started and ran fine all till a few minutes ago it seems like the same thing i dont know what to do i have brand new spark plugs and new wires should i change them do y'all think it will fix the problem?? :dontknow:</p></blockquote><p></p>
