Cleaning a intake

I have a gt-40 intake it has a lot of carbin built up in the upper and lower. What is a good way to clean it and what should I use.It's not the car.Thanks guys

I would just use Carb Cleaner/Brake Cleaner and just make sure you rinse it really well before you put it on.

Pressure washer might work well also.

Do as written above.....however, do NOT take carb/brake cleaner to the throttle body if its stock. You'll run into idle issues. Just make sure after you've cleaned it, you either vaccum or blow it out GOOD with compressed air afterwards.

the best stuff ive EVER found for cleaning dirty engine parts.... Berrymanns B12 Chemtool.

shit works wonders.

If you are repainting it, take oven cleaner to the car wash with ya, spray it down, let it soak in, then spray about 2 bucks worth of soap at it and then rinse it really well. Works great for me. Removes just about everything baked on, like the commercials say, lol.
